Pseudo-precision system for row crops, maize / sunflowers
Developed to meet the diverse needs of agriculture, the T-ForcePlus 250 is a revolutionary drill. Whether for orchards or fields, for flat or steep terrain, this machine is at home anywhere thanks to its compact design with a low center of gravity and individual ballasting. Due to their excellent handling properties, they are ideal for sowing between trees or in regions with small structures, for example. Novag’s unique T-SlotPlus system guarantees optimum seed placement even under difficult no-till conditions, laying the foundation for reliable yields. The IntelliForcePlus Control System does an excellent job of keeping the sowing depth constant.
The T-SlotPlus system from Novag ensures optimum seed placement and therefore reliable yields, even in difficult no-till conditions. The special T-slot shape is created by a vertical disc and two T-shaped Seed blades, which place the seed and fertilizer separately to the side.
Lots of pressure, but intelligently
Soil resistance varies greatly – due to compaction, stones or changing soil types. The IntelliForcePlus system automatically adjusts the coulter pressure for a constant sowing depth, especially with no-till.
Sensors on the Press wheels measure the resistance, hydraulic cylinders regulate the pressure individually for each opener (up to 500 kg and 430 mm stroke). Thanks to the parallelogram, each opener always remains stable and in precise contact with the ground.
The total volume of all T-ForcePlus 250 tanks is 2,460 l, which is divided into four compartments – for maximum flexibility and versatility when sowing.
The two central main chambers ensure reliable separation of seed and fertilizer and have a volume ratio of 70 / 30 %, ideal for adapting to different crops, seed rates or fertilizer strategies.
Two 80-liter additional tanks are optionally available at the rear, which can be used for the separate metering of fine seeds, micro-granulates or slug pellets.
All hoppers can deliver their products to each openers independently of each other, allowing several components to be used at the same time. Up to four different products can be applied at the same time – e.g. two crops, fertilizer and slug pellets.
A performance-optimized fan motor ensures a stable air flow with lower hydraulic requirements – perfectly matched to tractors in smaller power classes.
This means that the system works efficiently and reliably, while the linking process can be carried out quickly, precisely and easily, as with all Novag machines.
Selective selection of openers
The Novag seed drill allows exceptional flexibility in the choice of active seed rows. The sowing depth of each opener can be individually adjusted and also selectively switched on and off – for example every 2nd, 3rd or 4th row, ideal for rapeseed, soybeans or maize.
Twin Row
Seed flow monitoring
The Novag seed monitoring system ensures maximum control and safety during sowing. It can be installed on both the main hoppers and the additional hoppers.
Sensors monitor the seed flow in real time, detect blockages immediately and provide an accurate estimate of the application rate in seeds per second. This keeps sowing precise, efficient and trouble-free at all times.
Hydraulically driven dosing units
All metering systems on Novag seed drills are hydraulically driven – for maximum performance and flexibility.
The hydraulic system enables precise metering of large seeds at low rates as well as high application rates. A two-stage, intuitive calibration system ensures particular accuracy.
The T-ForcePlus 250 uses the same Metering units for all tanks, including the additional tanks.
It works with interchangeable rotors that can be flexibly selected for different seed and fertilizer grain sizes as well as for different application rates.
The system is designed to be easy to maintain and can be precisely calibrated in just a few steps, ensuring easy handling and high dosing accuracy in every application.
The Novag T-ForcePlus 250 has been specially developed for use on sensitive soils and in mountainous regions.
With its reduced overall height of just 2.6 m and low center of gravity, it offers stable and safe handling, even on slopes or uneven terrain.
The machine has relatively large tires for its weight.
At the same time, its low unladen weight means that it is particularly gentle on the soil – ideal for wet locations or regions with steep and sloping fields.
In addition, the T-ForcePlus 250 is particularly easy to operate and maintain. Its clear design and easy access to all components facilitate daily checks, adjustments and maintenance work.
The machine is optionally available with an integrated hydraulic pump and a separate oil tank, which makes it completely independent of the tractor’s hydraulic system.
The T-ForcePlus 250 is also available in working widths from 2 meters – a particularly interesting option for sowing between rows of trees in orchards or in wide-row vineyards.
Larger contact area – Less soil compaction
In wet or difficult soil conditions, soil compaction is a key issue for every farmer.
Thanks to Novag’s intelligent design and robust tire and track solutions, the soil remains protected – and the work is done efficiently.
Soil-friendly tires
By optimally adjusting the tire pressure from road to field use, the weight is evenly distributed – and the ground pressure is significantly reduced
An adjusted tire pressure is crucial to avoid compaction. Novag does not offer a factory-fitted tire pressure regulation system, but from the TF+350 upwards the axles are pre-drilled so that this useful system can be easily retrofitted.
For the TF+250, a tire pressure regulation system with an external rotary union and flexible lines can be selected in order to retrofit an RDA to this model as well.
Ballasting option – flexibility for any terrain
The Novag T-ForcePlus 250 has been specially developed for farms that need to work reliably on wet soils in the fall as well as on hard, dry surfaces in the summer. Their concept: weight only where it is needed.
With a low unladen weight of just 3.6 t, the machine remains light and gentle on the ground on damp or sloping surfaces. If required, however, up to 1.95 t of additional weight can be added.
There are 39 50 kg weight plates available for this purpose, which can be stacked and bolted directly onto the axle and over the tires.
This allows the coulter pressure to be optimally adapted to the soil conditions – maximum penetration on hard soils, minimum load on soft surfaces.
This flexibility makes the T-ForcePlus 250 a universal solution for farmers who want to get the best out of their soil in changing conditions.
