Novag offers no-till drills in various working widths – the right solution for every farm and every area of application.
The result: more productivity, fewer passes and precise sowing, even in tight time windows.
The T-ForcePlus series stands for innovation, efficiency and precision.
Its concept combines intelligent mechanics, advanced electronics and hydraulic control to create a unique, powerful system. At its heart is the hybrid opener with its characteristic inverted-T Slot, which ensures minimal soil disturbance, optimum seed placement and healthy soil life.
The T-SlotPlus system from Novag ensures optimum seed placement and therefore reliable yields, even in difficult no-till conditions. The special T-slot shape is created by a vertical disc and two T-shaped angled Seed blades, which place the seed and fertilizer separately to the side.
Advantages of the T-slot:
The no-till standard
Straw, catch crops and crop residues are central to soil-conserving agriculture, but pose a problem for conventional no-till drills: Blockages and poor seed-to-soil contact lead to yield losses.
Novag machines set new standards: even at high speeds, around 90% of the straw remains untouched. This saves time-consuming tillage, reduces costs and protects soil life – sustainably promoting soil improvement.
Hardly any ground movement
No disturbance! The combination of the disc and the very narrow shape of the Seed blades enables minimal soil movement.
Novag no-till drills work reliably even at high speeds. Around 90 % of the crop residues remain in place.
This superior handling of straw and catch crops is a decisive advantage in dry summers or during heavy rainfall – as well as for weed control.
The fertilization system – precise right from the start
Especially in spring, no-till can lead to nutrient deficiencies, especially nitrogen. Starter fertilizer is therefore crucial for successful plant establishment. With Novag technology, fertilizer is placed precisely next to the seed – at an optimum distance of 2-3 cm. The disc serves as a partition in the T-slot and protects the seed from burns – even with high fertilizer quantities.
Fertilization can be flexibly adapted to the location and crop. T-chambers of different depths also allow fertilizer to be placed directly under the seed. Liquid fertilizer or compost extracts can be applied directly via a stainless steel injection tube.
Reliable closure
The T-shape ensures a reliably closed Slot – on both light and heavy soils. Angled Press wheels close the Slot directly behind the disc, ensuring optimum soil contact and protecting the seed from drying out and bird damage – particularly important in dry conditions. The sowing depth can be flexibly adjusted from 1 to 8 cm, ideal for different crops and seed sizes – even in mixtures.
A screw on each opener can be individually adjusted to fine-tune the sowing depth.
Suitable for all soils
No-till requires flexibility – even within a field. Cutting discs and Press wheels must be optimally matched to each other. Wide Press wheels provide good depth control on light soils and are suitable for the transition phase to conservation agriculture. Narrow rollers ensure precise slit closure on firm, healthy soils. Seed blades and disc size can be adjusted – with T-SlotPlus technology, every soil situation can be mastered perfectly.
Strong – Heavy-duty opener design
The solid construction of Novag coulter systems is designed for the toughest conditions.
Robust components and a stable frame ensure durability and consistent performance, even on stony or compacted soils.
All bearings are permanently lubricated (“greased for life”) – this means no regular maintenance and maximum reliability.
In addition, maintenance-free plain bearings made of composite material are used, which do not require any lubrication points.
This keeps the system permanently precise, strong and virtually maintenance-free.
If the soil resistance changes, the requirements for the coulter pressure also vary.
The IntelliForcePlus system automatically adjusts the hydraulic pressure in the cylinder to ensure a constant closing force.
The parallelogram design of Novag coulter systems has more to offer than meets the eye.
This seemingly simple mechanism is crucial for precision, adaptability and unbeatable sowing performance.
Why a parallelogram for contour following?
The parallelogram keeps the T-blade point at the optimum cutting angle in every working area – for minimum soil disturbance at any sowing depth.
With 43 cm of vertical suspension travel, the system works effortlessly on uneven terrain.
Whether on a hill or a dip, the opener remains perfectly aligned, the sowing depth constant and the placement precise.
The special feature: Thanks to the geometry of the parallelogram, the pressure force remains constant, regardless of the angle of the arm.
This means that the machine delivers the same performance everywhere – on the hill and in the hollow, without any compromises.
IntelliForcePlus, automatic adjustment in real time
Cutting force + closing force
At the heart of the parallelogram design is the division of the hydraulic force (1) into two decisive components:
The IntelliForcePlus automatic coulter pressure system takes control:
With Novag’s in-house electronics development, you are always in control.
Troubleshooting is fast, monitoring is seamless and all systems work together perfectly so you can sow without interruption.
Novag electronics are developed entirely in-house, specifically for the requirements of no-till.
This means fewer breakdowns, faster diagnostics and technology that understands your work.
Electronics that think for themselves
Real-time monitoring for full control
Keep an eye on every function – precisely and easily:
Four-tank monitoring: know what’s happening in each hopper at all times.
Seed flow and blockage monitoring: Detect faults before they occur.
IntelliForcePlus control: automatic adjustment of the coulter pressure for perfect placement.
Tramline options: efficient lane guidance for controlled traffic farming.
No more guesswork – just trust in the technology.
Two operating options: Legacy or ISOBUS
Legacy monitor: stand-alone, intuitive display for full control.
ISOBUS compatibility: Integration into existing terminals for maximum flexibility.
Whether you want to rely on tried-and-tested systems or integrate your own –
Novag electronics ensure that you are always in full control.
Any questions? We will be happy to advise you.
Make your no-till drill unique and configure it according to your needs. The unique Novag modular system supports you in your tasks. Opt for application rate monitoring, blockage sensors or tramline control.
Ask us about specific solutions for your business and we will provide individual adaptations: Filling auger or loading crane, Auxiliary bin with independent dosing unit, hydraulic options, manual or automatic row shut-off. The possibilities are almost unlimited – it’s up to you.
Less soil movement: Fewer openers in the soil means less disturbance and less weed germination – reducing the need for herbicides.
Lower power requirement: Fewer openers reduce the tractive power requirement, diesel consumption and the load on the tractor. Machines with greater spacing can also be built more easily, which increases efficiency.
Healthier crops: More space between the plants improves air circulation. Lower humidity reduces the risk of fungal and viral diseases and ensures more stable yields.
Faster row closure: The crop closes the rows earlier, shades the soil and suppresses weeds later on. At the same time, evaporation is reduced and soil moisture is better retained.
Higher yield potential: On fertile soils, closer spacing makes optimum use of the space and nutrients, resulting in higher yields.

Less plant protection products, less fertilizer use, but more sustainability and climate protection – these are challenges that all arable farms have to face today.
But many Novag users show: It works.
Despite climate change, dry spells or heavy rainfall, farmers from various regions report stable yields and a significantly improved soil structure – with reduced input at the same time.
What do they have in common? The courage to break new ground – and the right technology to work economically and future-proof. Their experience shows: With innovative no-till technology, ecological requirements and economic goals can be successfully combined.
